FIJI Waterfront!

"ICE" is now on the hard at Vuda marina with an amazing 270 degree waterfront view for the cyclone season. It is stunning looking out over the lagoon to the distant islands. WOW, wish we were living onboard now, as ICE is the ultimate waterfront apartment! I headed back to Hobart to checked out the new Magnetometer which finally arrived..it is very cool and the operating manual looks quite interesting :)..Hmmmm!! I went up to Sydney for a weekend to look at some WWII Willy’s Jeeps (for a future adventure!) then back to Hobart, then over to Adelaide (more Jeeps) and now in Bali for a few days R&R. Next stop China for a few weeks to sort new boats and "stuff" to ship to Fiji for next season. Then on Dec. 16th, I head to Hobart, then New Zealand, then Hobart again, then finally mid January, back again to New Zealand to join MV ORION and lead two Antarctica expeditions into the Ross Sea. I have been doing that each summer for the past 10 years, but this will be my last Antarctic season for a few years. Happy to have my summers back!! I return to Hobart early March, then, Adelaide, China and finally Fiji on April 10th, 2014 to get back in the water!! Looking forward to that..

We have started receiving expressions of interest from new crew, so if I do not get back to you straight away it is because of all the traveling..thanks…
